Great for Casual wear
I buy two pair at a time so I will have an extra set when I wear holes in the first pair. I love this shoes. It's a great price, they feel comfortable, and you can wear them to work everyday (business casual) or with a suit.
Great Shoe
I have owned more expensive dress shoes, but I was looking for a day to day shoe and gave the Dockers a shot. By far the most comfortable dress shoe I own. I now have several pairs and they are holding up great. I highly recommend this shoe.
A+ for Style, F for durability
Bottom Line: The material quality of this nice looking shoe has gone WAY downhill. Not built to last.
Two years ago, I purchased this shoe and it instantly became a favorite for work days. When the shoes were finally ready for retirement, I decided to buy three pair. Actually, I purchased 2 of these (a black and a brown) and a pair of Proposal, which is essentially the same shoe without laces. Well, the Dockers shoe that I loved has been replaced with a cheap imitation. Within a short time, I noticed that the leather and soles were wearing quickly. The leather was excessively wrinkled and frayed at the seams. The soles were quickly wearing away and fading to an ugly dark gray. Also, the elastic strip on the top of the shoe (for added flexibility) has already ripped on one pair.
I will not buy this shoe again.
