Light weight,Shoe Sole is of low quality

I had purchased these shoes in June,2008 in $35. The shoes are lightweight and looks nice when new,but the quality of the shoe sole is very bad.
Its december and the shoe sole has worn out. There is big hole in the shoe sole.. Its just 6 months since I bought the shoes.
I won't recommend this shoes to anyone.

Good fit, but material quality is questionable

The fit of these is not bad, I have no complaints - otherwise I wouldn't have bought them in the first place.
However, the reason why I decided to go out of my way to rate these is because I believe the materials used in these shoes are susceptible to and promote shoe odor. Now, you say..."that's a matter of opinion and for all I know, your feet just stank!" Two things: 1) I tend to be obsessive about hygiene. 2) I have a number of dress shoes of other brands that have seen a lot more usage than these, and have NOT this problem.
I bought these no more than a month ago, and the best way to describe this odor is a strong "new shoe smell," which escapes the shoe, even if you're wearing them! Sitting at a desk I can smell it, and it drives me quite simply nuts. I suspect that these shoes are awful breathers...as the feet do get noticeably more hot and sweaty, reacting with the materials (upper portion of the inside, I believe), giving the end result.
Curious to know if there's anyone else with this issue.
The only reason I wouldn't rate these a one is because they do look good and fit well. But the odor is a deal breaker. Using some Odor Eater insoles at the moment. Will report back later with the findings.

Not happy with purchase. Shoe was not true to size. Not a true fit.
