It Leaks!
The toe area leaks. Do not buy this shoe if you want something waterproof. Also, the eyelets at the top had to be bent to keep the laces from slipping out. I expected much more from New Balance. This is the first pair that have been defective.

Nice but on the smaller side
These shoes are very nice but I ordered the same size as other New Balance shoes I wear and they were a little small. You MIGHT want to go a 1/2 size bigger than normal.

SIZE SMALLER THAN STATED!!!
I have been wearing this model since 2001...This is by far the ugliest model to date. As stated earlier the toe leaks. This shoe is AT Least a 1/2 size smaller than stated. The Toe Box is very cramped and make my feet hurt. This has never happened with previous models, as they have been very comfortable out of the box. I feel the overall quality is decreased. I am personally switching to a different brand because walking is my hobby and these shoes do not function at the level of previous models.
